Pick up time from your hotel: 8 am.
From your hotel, enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 2 to two and an half hours towards the quiet harbor of South-West Lombok. Along the way, you’ll pass traditional villages, rice fields, and local activities such as brick making-offering a glimpse into authentic island life.
At Batu Kijuk Village, your private boat will be ready to take you across the calm waters to the first of the Secret Islands.
Secret Islands Snorkeling Tour, snorkeling at Gili Rengit & Gili Layar
The boat ride takes around 45 minutes, passing the lager island Gili Gede along the way. Your first snorkeling stop is near Gili Rengit, where you will snorkel directly from the boat. This area is known for its healthy coral reefs and abundant marine life, perfect for an unforgettable first underwater experience.
Then, we continue to Gili Layar, a peaceful island with powdery white sand and minimal development. At this point, you’ll have time to relax, swim, and snorkel in calm, clear waters filled with colorful fish and coral gardens. With a bit of luck, meanwhile, you may even spot sea turtles gliding through the reef. On Gili Layar we see almost unspoiled nature, powder white sand and almost no accommodation. Here we start our relaxing time, swimming, snorkeling and so on. You will be amazed seeing the beautiful colorful coral and also many different kind of fish.
Lunch can be enjoyed at a small local beachfront restaurant, offering freshly prepared dishes such as fresh grilled fish, fried rice (nasi goreng), and noodles (mie)- perfect to complement the relaxed island atmosphere.
Gili Nanggu & Kedis
After lunch, the journey continues to Gili Nanggu, a privately managed island known for its laid-back atmosphere and easy snorkeling access. The shallow waters close to the beach make it ideal for spotting tropical fish without needing to swim far.
Your last stop is the tiny island Gili Kedis, often called a “mini paradise”. This small, uninhabited island is perfect for relaxing, taking photos, or enjoying one last swim before heading back.
From Gili Kedis, the boat will take you back to the harbor. From here you will be driven comfortably back till Senggigi- bringing a beautiful day of island discovery to a perfect close.
