Pick up time from your hotel: 8 am.
The day starts with a scenic drive towards Sembalun in the North- East of Lombok. Along the way, you will pass vibrant local markets such as Kebon Roek in Ampenan and the market in Sweta.
We continue our journey while enjoying the beautiful rice fields and seeing locals selling traditional food along the way. One of these local specialties is called Bantal, named after its pillow-like-shape. It is a traditional rice cake wrapped in palm leaves and filled with banana or red beans. You definitely have to try it!
Sembalun Valley & Mount Rinjani Views
After approximately 3 hours, you finally arrive in Sembalun, a beautiful agriculture area known for; strawberries, onions & garlic, fresh vegetables. If in season, you can even pick your own strawberries.
For lunch, we stop at a local restaurant meanwhile enjoying a stunning view of Mount Rinjani, Indonesia’s second-highest volcano.
After lunch, enjoy a relaxing scenic drive back to Senggigi area, passing along Lombok’s beautiful northern coastline and countryside.
We then make a short stop at Nipah Beach, one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Lombok, where you can enjoy beautiful sunset views, views over the 3-Gili’s and a glimpse of Bali’s Mountain Agung.
After enjoying the sunset, we bring you back to your hotel in Senggigi area- ending a memorable day exploring the beauty of Lombok.
